COAJ LISTSERV POLICY

1. PURPOSE:

The Central Ohio Association for Justice (“COAJ”) List Serv is provided as a benefit to COAJ members to help facilitate easy exchange of information, tips, strategies, and legal updates to further their practices and best serve their clients.

 

2. TERMS OF USE:

Users of the COAJ List Serv agree to abide by the following:

A. Maintain professional and courteous discourse.

B. Not post threatening, harassing, abusive, libelous, illegal, or offensive material.

C. Not solicit or advertise for goods or services of any kind, except to seek recommendations to fill an available job position in a member’s office. 

D. Not post any confidential, copyrighted, or private information. 

E. Assume anything posted to the list serv may become public.


F. Use the subject line to efficiently summarize your post.

 

3. AGREEMENT:

Use of the COAJ List Serv constitutes agreement with and assent to all terms in this Policy.

 

4. CHANGE:

The terms of this Policy are subject to change at any time without notice at the sole discretion of the COAJ Board of Directors.

 

5. VIOLATIONS:

Any violation of this Policy may subject the violator to removal from the list serv by majority vote of the COAJ Board of Directors.

 

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER:

COAJ disclaims all liability for all damages in any way related to use of the List Serv. Users are solely responsible for any damage or loss of data in connection with their use of the List Serv. Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless COAJ, its officers, employees, and agents, from all claims and demands made by any third party regarding use of the List Serv. The views and opinions expressed on the List Serv are those of the user only, and not COAJ. COAJ makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy or reliability of any post, or that the List Serv is free from viruses or malicious software of any kind. It is the user’s sole responsibility to install and maintain appropriate virus protection software on their own computer.
